Optoma is launching a new 4K projector, dubbed the ‘UHD55,’ that is designed to offer streamlined setup and high-quality display for a wide variety of entertainment and gaming applications, and is capable of offering flat and corrected displays on even surfaces.
This particular 4K projector is equipped with a geometric correction tool that is designed to optimize displays that are thrown on walls that boast uneven surfaces. In fact, the projector is even equipped with a special setting that allows for better color correction for throws on walls that are not white. Elsewhere, Optoma’s ‘UHD55’ 4K projector boasts a maximum resolution of 3,480 x 2,160 pixels and is more than capable of swiftly handling displays up to 302 diagonal inches.
“The new Optoma UHD55 combines top-of-the-line features to meet the needs of home entertainment enthusiasts, delivering on image quality, performance and functionality – all at a market-leading price,” noted Optoma’s head of product marketing, Allen Pestell.
The projector can be purchased for a price of $1,799.
