Pro-Ject, a company that has made a name for itself by churning out audiophile-approved turntables at surprisingly affordable prices, has knocked it out of the park yet again with the advent of the ‘E1 BT’ budget turntables.
These turntables, which are part of the company’s E1 line, are said to offer 0.25 percent in speed fluctuations at 33 revolutions per minute, or 0.23 percent at 45 revolutions per minute. Elsewhere, the turntables are fitted with a straight tonearm and an upgraded headshell, with anti-skating and tracking settings pre-optimized in factory to ensure that the turntables are a piece of cake to set up and start using.
These budget turntables, which cost only $499, can also be connected to Bluetooth headphones and speakers.
