‘The Digital Pets Company’ is building a platform for artificial intelligence (AI)-powered digital pets that are securable cross-app and verified by NFTs. These pets will run on a persistent-state AI that is transferrable to different worlds in the Metaverse without losing its data bank. This means an individual could hypothetically raise a digital dog in one world, then bring it to another one, and the dog will be unchanged.
The DIgital Pets Company is currently raising funds in a pre-seed round to determine its developmental direction. The Digital Pets Company stated that each of its Blockchain-based NFT dogs will have a unique look and personality which will be powered by the company’s ‘PetOS’ technology. The dogs will be hosted on an InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) that allows widespread compatibility of the NFT-tied dogs.
