Wing Zone signed a partnership agreement with the robotics and automation company Miso Robotics to make the ‘Flippy 2’ automated fry cook a standard at all future Wing Zone restaurants. The automated fry cook has previously proven successful in franchises such as White Castle, Chipotle, and Panera, leading to Wing Zone solidifying its own investment in the company.
With this new initiative, Wing Zone has become the first restaurant chain to add robotic workers to its list of standardizations. The company has also further solidified its commitment to innovation with the release of the ‘Wing Zone Labs’ location. This location will serve as a test site for new technologies, practices, and standards for the brand, allowing the restaurant to assess the effectiveness of certain things before bringing them to market.
