Leading streaming platform Roku has announced that Apple Music will now be available globally through the Roku app. Up until now, the platform had only offered users access to Spotify — Apple Music’s main competitor.
Now, users can stream Apple Music on any Roku device, including the brand’s individually sold streaming players, through Roku’s Streambar Pro, and, of course, on any Roku TV model. All users have to do is download Apple Music through Roku’s app store, input their log-in credentials and begin streaming their favorite songs. In addition, the Apple Music app can be used to access 4K music videos and exclusive streaming events such as original shows and live concerts.
What’s more, Apple is currently offering a 1-month free trial of Apple Music for Roku users looking to try out the platform.
