The Starlink Portability feature has been unveiled by the brand as a new way for subscribers to access the satellite Internet service from anywhere. The feature is available for an additional fee of $25 per month and enables subscribers to bring their satellite dish with them wherever they go. This expands the capabilities of the satellite Internet service and enables professionals or travelers alike to bring reliable connectivity with them when hitting the road.
The Starlink Portability feature will draw between 60W to 70W when in use compared to the previous 80W to 100W to make it a more efficient solution for those heading off the grid. Users will be able to enjoy download speeds ranging from 100Mbps to 200Mbps with latency as low as 20ms.
