Social media giant Snapchat has announced the launch of an all-new feature called ‘Dress Up,’ which allows users to partake in a variety of AR shopping expereinces through a dedicated portal within the app’s Lens Explorer section. The new feature has been designed to streamline the process of discovering new brands and retailers that offer e-commerce through the platform.
In addition, Snap Inc. also revealed new AR building software tools for businesses, two of which include 3D Asset Manager and AR Image Processing technology. Finally, Snap Inc. also announced the launch of Camera Kit for AR shopping — a unique tool that brands can use to implement catalog-powered Shopping Lenses in their owned and operated applications.
