American digital audio company Avid has unveiled a new audio editing software subscription package for its Pro Tools suite. The new three-month offering represents a push by the brand to attract emerging musicians who may be in search of a more accessible, easy-to-use editing platform.
In addition, the company has also announced the launch of two new virtual instruments for its platform, as well as integration with SoundFlow, a new automation tool designed to improve music-making workflows. The specific products offered via new three-month subscription models include Pro Tool Artist, Pro Tools Studio, and Pro Tools Flex.
“The new pricing for Pro Tools gives creators at every level, whether they’re working in music creation or audio post-production, the ability to deliver their best possible sound no matter where they’re at in their career,” said Francois Quereuil, Avid’s VP for Product Management for Audio and Music Solutions.
