Sony is expected to unveil the next lineup of Xperia phones at their ‘Xperia Announcement May 2022’ event. The video teases the release of the Xperia 1 IV, but consumers are expecting more than just one device to be revealed. Leaked information predicts Sony will also announce the releases of the Xperia 5 and Xperia 10 series phones at the event.
The Xperia 1 IV comes with a wide range of features, including thick top and bottom bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication. It also boasts a quad rear camera setup, while the bottom side holds a 3.5mm audio jack and a SIM card tray. It’s expected to have a 6.5-inch OLED display.
The Xperia event is to take place on May 11th and any interested buyers can tune into the broadcast for more information.
