AgroStar is a very important farming platform that helps create cohesion for agricultural communities and businesses in India. Giving access to a social network, education, and an e-commerce storefront simultaneously, AgroStar can definitely be considered a cohesive, multi-function experience.
It is estimated that about five million farmers, residing and working in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh utilize the farming platform every day and take advantage of its features. Considered to lead India’s “AgTech revolution through end-to-end solutions,” AgroStar supports local farmers in the country with “an extensive amount of data and agronomy knowledge, disseminated through [its] state-of-the-art tech-enabled platform, built in-house by [its] product and engineering teams.”
In addition to its online presence, AgroStar opened 1,000 stores in 2021-2022 where “underbanked farmers can purchase products in cash.”
