HUAWEI Nova 8 Pro with 6.72-inch FHD+ OLED 120Hz display, Kirin 985, 66W fast charging and Nova 8 announced

HUAWEI just announced Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro 5G smartphones in China. The Nova 8 packs a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate and houses a 32MP camera inside the punch-hole, and the 8 Pro pack a 6.72-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate and houses a 32MP ultra-wide camera along with a 16MP portrait camera inside the punch-hole. These are powered by  Kirin 985 SoC with 8GB of RAM.

The phones use AG anti-glare glass technology on the back that reflects light at certain angles. These feature in-display fingerprint scanner, run Android 10 with EMUI 11 with HMS, pack 3800mAh and 4000mAh battery, respectively with 66W SuperCharge fast charging via USB Type-C.

The HUAWEI Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro come in Midnight Black, Silver, Forest Green and Midsummer Purple colours. The Nova 8 is priced at 3299 yuan (US$ 504 / Rs. 37,165 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 3699 yuan (US$ 565 / Rs. 41,680 approx.).

The Nova 8 Pro is priced at 3999 yuan (US$ 611 / Rs. 45,060 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 4399 yuan (US$ 672 / Rs. 49,570 approx.). These are available for order from today and will go on sale in China from December 30th.
